The room was well appointed with king bed, convenient bedside outlets, desk and an additional easy chair, and refrigerator. We were in a handicapped room and the shower was a roll-in shower with no lip, so it would be easy to roll in a wheel chair. There were plenty of handholds and a hand held shower head. A very nice room. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, oatmeal, waffles and bagels.
Room immediately smelled like mildew. It was as if the entire first floor had been flooded at some point, and the carpet dried out but not replaced.

i was very pleased with my stay/experience. Staff was professional and friendly, i could tell they were trained with taking pride in representing the company and their position. Beds were super comfy and a/c worked awesome. If i could recommend anything, would be to work on the detail cleaning of the shower up in the corners. i still give it 5*
Clean and quiet tonight.
I called to ask if their pool was open before booking and they said yes. When I got their it wasn't open. They were supposed to text me when it was time to check in...they didn't. The vent fan in the bathroom didn't work. There were hairs all over the sink. The toilet boil was nasty to look down into because of stains around the upper lip. The bathmat looked to have been thrown up on w/o being cleaned and was placed back into service with an 18 inch diameter nasty stain. Two lamps were missing light bulbs. There was only one ice maker working on a 3 floor hotel and I could never get any ice. They refused to let me get a late check out (I offered to pay) and had to get the room for another night in order to stay until early afternoon. Never will I stay there ever again.
We only stayed for a couple nights while my son toured the Ragin' Cajuns football program but we enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good as well. Its not a 5-star Hilton but i have no complaints about the room, it was very clean and comfortable. Good stay at a good price.

Great stay. Just wish they allowed dogs.
