Nicely located between downtown and West Asheville. Check-in was efficient and professional. The room was clean. Free parking. Swimming pool a nice plus. Free breakfast was included: self-serve waffles, microwaveable Jimmy Dean mini-croissants, and yogurt were nice. Bagels offered, as well. TV worked fine. A good spot for both pedestrians and the car-bound.

Building a bit run down. Only around half of the parking spaces are covered. The high walls that surround the swimming pool very much limit its attractiveness. The coffee at breafast was poor, and the milk and juices were frozen blocks. As pets are allowed, we were rudely awakened by barking, and exterior hallways occassion regular early morning traffic with noisy rolling suitcases.

Everything at Downtown Suites met our needs. Jack of the Woods was closed. Catawba Valley Brewing no longer in business.

The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get our keys when we checked in early. The location is great for walking around the area and getting to food, music venues, and shopping.

No complaints.
