Excellent breakfast and superb evening meal

Wifi connectivity was poor

It's in a lovely place, and the parking was convenient. The breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly. Smart looking bathroom and plenty of tea and biscuits.

We were in a room in a different building from the pub, so had to go across the road to get breakfast, as well as to seek help with the WiFi, the TV and the door key. The bed was really creaky, so we kept waking up (and the foot board was not great for my tall husband).

Damp, thin walls, grubby

My daughters stayed in the main pub and had to endure the sound of people next door having noisy sex in the evening and morning. Our accommodation was in a neighbouring building and smelt damp - no extractor fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre.

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Well placed for the Coast to Coast walk

Nice central location in the village- very quiet - got a good room in the annex ( 3 tons) with a good shower/bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly

The breakfast room in the hotel ( main hotel) was a little smoky ( presumably from the night before)

Check in chaotic. We're sent to the 3 tuns instead. Not even a double bed in a double room. Room previously an apartment but with facilities ripped out and just left with doors hanging off. Positioned above kitchen so that at 7.25 am their extractor fan started up and sounded like an aircraft under the bed. Guess we were put there because we had a dog Breakfast was ok.
