Residence Inn by Marriott Davenport

My daughter's love of the beds and full size shampoo, conditioner and body was in the bathroom.

Size of the room. Bed was comfortable.

Unsafe bathroom. Take out the damn tub. For a Mariott it was not up to the standard. Outdated. Overpriced.

For this being a Marriott property, I was very surprised by how outdated and just swept clean this property was. After a 14hr road trip I expected a nice relaxing environment and a comfortable bed. Instead it was as if I walked into 1990. The bed was hard, the HVAC in the room did not work leaving it stuffy and hot with no air flow in the room. While the room appeared clean, the carpets and old upholstered furniture were stained and very dirty. The shower head was broke and spewed water above onto the wallpaper. For breakfast, it was bare minimum—certainly not what was pictured on the website. Checkin staff was nice but seemed to disappear for the rest of the stay. Normally I prefer a Residence Inn , however with this experience I may rethink my future bookings.

We had.a reservation for Saturday night. We received an email 6hrs before checkin that our room was cancelled due to overbooking and sorry to the inconvenience. We were already on the road to a gymnastics tournament in Davenport. When we called the hotel, they told us that there was nothing they could do to help us. Not only was the staff unapologetic, but they didn't seem to even care that we were left stranded in a strange town. I was told that they were under new management and had no intentions of trying to secure us another room due to their mistake. WOW...

Filthy dirty…. I don’t care if it’s outdated, there’s no excuse for rooms not being clean. Interior windows, carpet, bathroom shower were terrible. No one should have to go into a room and have to clean it yourself

Breakfast was not kept up. Waited 25 minutes for eggs and sausage. Still wasn’t any brought out when I had to leave.

Nice bed nice appliances good shower

Soap bar was so small you could only use it twice. SHould put a bottle in bath sink like in shower/tub if you want to save money. Tub filled up with water as soon as you started the water and it filled up fast while showering - big no no for me. Pillows were way too soft. couch was filthy. should be replaced

Great breakfast….really nice room for the price

This is reaching its life span and needs upgrades. The entrance driveway is.terrible! The entrances are trip hazards. And the big surprise was no local or network TV. Breakfast was marginal at best although they did apologize for the burned food

Location was great for our needs.

The staff…rarely anyone “present” at the desk and the morning staff was very loud and inconsiderate of those that were still sleeping.
