Residence Inn by Marriott Davenport

I would only stay here if you are looking for an affordable hotel at $100. Quite frankly- it’s gross. The shower had blood and hair in it. There was no hot coffee at breakfast, and the buffet was not very appealing- you can grab a yogurt or bagel though. No changing table or area for little ones in the restrooms. The pool door was propped open and it was an open pit. So incredibly dangerous. Wear and tear throughout- I wish we had kept driving.

Breakfast was just ok nothing special

There was no yogurt very little fruit and had to leave without breakfast because it was not ready at 6:30

Rooms are well equipped, friendly staff ,decent breakfast, great big windows

Rooms could use an updating and a deep cleaning,furniture very old

Room was spacious. Typical hotel decor. It was quiet and they offered breakfast, 2 things we look for when traveling. I found the couch uncomfortable but was only here for a few hours then overnight so that did not really impact my stay

The entire hotel smelled of mildew, the room was incredibly outdated, the room was never cleaned & the front desk was of no help.

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was crouched outside the entry door smoking. There were cigarette butts all over the ground by the trashcan. We walked thru a cloud of smoke to get in. We were informed on check in that the pool was closed. The laundry room was a mess with 1 of 2 washers working as well as 1 of 2 dryers working.  Our room smelled like it was smoked in before. There was no trash can in bathroom. And, the entry road has large cracks and potholes making arrival to the parking lot a bit rough to say the least. It looks like it's being remodeled so maybe it will get better but this is the worst Marriott we've stayed in.
