Motel 6-Portsmouth, VA

My family booked 2 rooms one for my Aunt who experienced a terrible night. It’s a good thing she and her fiance were together or else she may have had a heart attack. Someone at her door was knocking and also the windows. When she saw a guy wearing black around 11;00pm and then another guy knocked around 1&2:00am! When she called the frontdesk the lady said just don’t open the door. And when I confirmed with her around 3:00am she said she did not see anyone at their cctv.

I booked two rooms, one is for my Aunt who is 64 years old. She got so horrified when some started knocking on her door at around 12 midnight until 2:30 am three different persons! They also knocked on the window. She take a peek and saw “a scary man” she described she called the front desk but the lady said she did not see anyone thru the cctv but she called the police.

The only bad thing about this stay is that I was charged when I got there after paying on the app and when trying to explain this to the front desk person she wasn’t trying to hear me.

Really just booked this room because it was cheap. Not sure if a it’s temporary shelter but it was people chillin outside their rooms like we were in the hood. One got was in the stairwell scared the creep outta me bummin for change. The motel have real shady, junkie vibes..

My car was towed,no toilet paper and towels and wash cloths were nasty. The toilet was broken.Crackheads and dope fens began for money. Kids up all night running around.Drug dealers hanging around.

The room was dirty. The tub was filthy. The sheets had burned holes in them from somebody smoking a cigarette.

Coming into the place. There were drug addicts sitting in the stairwells. Overall, it look like I walked into the middle of the ghetto with drug addicts, hung out.

Property was in a bad location. Looked really trashy and smelled really bad like urine around the stair wells. People standing around staring at us while getting our bags out of the car which felt very scary .

The location, the random men standing outside watching us. Def a hotel that people go to….. you know…..

Price was not as low as it should be

Police visited twice huge fight in room upstairs. Broke window kf room. Screaming, running around, etc

Location was ok. Not far from friends I was visiting.

The room smelled of smoke and there was a continuous leak above the toilet. I had to place a trash can to catch the water or whatever it was coming from the ceiling. I was told there were no more rooms available.
