Quality Inn Roanoke near Lake Gaston

Nobody at front desk. Had to ask a maid for help to check in. Room was not clean. Everything sticky and even ice bucket had fluid in it. Continental breakfast was a paper bag with assorted junk.The doors in between adjoining rooms were moldy. Absolutely disgusting. Wish I would have taken pics to upload. Even my credit card was charged more than agreed upon.

The hotel itself is very run down, but was clean. The staff made this stay! Everyone was so pleasant and extremely helpful! I mean everyone from making reservations down to maintenance.

The hotel needs repair. There were watermarks on the ceiling and carpet floors and smells old. The sink faucet was broken. The door has a vent that is not so secure. One of the guests was looking into our room window and was loitering in the veranda and stairways and was suspicious. Overall We did not feel safe and comfortable. But the staff were okay.

We had a room with a pullout bed. When we opened the bed there was a filthy sheet on the bed. Also there was a child's sock and a candy wrapper. And no extra pillows or blanket for this bed. We checked in at 1am, only to sleep on our long drive. Had it not been so late we would have left. We didn't use the shower- just got up an left as soon as we could the next morning.

Hotel was dirty. Stains on pillow cases and bedding. Hair in the tub when when I went to give my son a bath.

It was dirty,noisy, and outdated! The toilet was clogged and overflowed.

The shower had mildew and the paint was peeling off the ceiling. There was hair on the toilet and embedded in the towels. Also, the bed had a sink hole in the middle. No sleep at all

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is run down but the rooms are clean. We were comfortable.

I came here to get away to go fishing at the lakes. Once I arrived, I got my room, was fairly decent for a cheap hotel room. Pool was closed so my son was bummed. Can’t go swimming at the lakes. The breakfast wasn’t worth anything. Our cards got deactivated after only one day and never was near cell phones or magnets. So had to get them reactivated. The toilet clogged up for no reason. Then they woke me up saying I was already checked out when I wasn’t. I won’t come back. This trip was a waste of my money and time and I’m pretty annoyed but thanks for the stay!
