Quality Inn Roanoke near Lake Gaston

It was perfectly adequate for our purposes. The staircase on our side of the building was out of service during our stay, which created a long walk from the car to the room, but it wasn't unreasonable.

The room was very old and dirty and expensive. Super small bathroom, you could barely turn around in it. The breakfast was good.

The filthiest, noisier hotel I've ever stayed at. People are smoking and drinking outside the rooms. The rooms smell. The carpets are stained and definitely not vacuumed. The bathrooms are disgusting with black mold on the walls and ceiling. The bathroom fan is gross. If there was any available room anywhere else I'd leave. I'll be lucky to get a few hours sleep and escape this distgusting place. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car if this is the only available place in the area. The car would be 10000x better and probably where I'll end up. I'm so grossed out. This place is THE WORST!

We stopped late on our drive home. Found the front desk person friendly - gave us a good rate- room was clean- bed/sheets comfortable. Actual breakfast- unlike many hotels that are only offering a bag breakfast. Also, of note, they do not rent to people that live within 25 miles so there’s only people that are actually traveling through. I would stay here again.

Our room looked like it wasn’t cleaned for a month, cobwebs everywhere, no shower curtain in the bathroom. We would not even eat there due to the conditions! If it hadn’t been midnight I would have absolutely left!! Lobby smelled clean, but I would recommend looking at a room! Never again.

Hotel and staff no good

The staff were friendly, the location was good, the room was pleasant, the linen for bed and bath were clean, the remainder of the room was filthy. there were hairs all over the bathroom floor, there was an empty Gatorade bottle behind the nightstand, the phone was not connected. Stayed one night, complained about filth, front desk said she would take it up with the cleaning crew and apologized.

The room was GROSS! I wish I had taken pictures. Stains on the lamp shade, paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, coffee stains on the TV (yes, you read that correctly). Carpet was obviously not cleaned, crumbs on the supposed cleaned and bagged remote. JUST GROSS!

Rooms are older and conditions show it. Overall though and comfortable place to sleep. A good valuable.

No person to check people in. Had to hunt down a maid to find someone.
