Quality Inn Roanoke near Lake Gaston

Oh I'm going to tell you about my stay which is currently under investigation and in which I am in the process of filing a police report. On the night of October 9th-10th 2021 I had booked a stay with hotels.com for a family members arrival for the night while traveling through heading south. Upon his arrival he was informed by the front hotel female staff member that his "virtual card" was rejected "even though hotels.com had confirmed a paid confirmation number" and was told that he had to pay for the evenings stay, unaware and in good faith he had provided another card for the evenings payment. To my disgust it turns out that this hotel committed fraud and double charged my family member for this stay. We are filing multiple fraud reports at this time and are disgusted by not only hotels.com's response to this event of allowing fraud by the proprietor of this quality inn, but will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER QUALITY INN AGAIN AND WILL NEVER USE HOTELS.COM AGAIN. thank you and we look forward to letting others know about this double charging fraud. Also if you enjoy homeless people stealing ice out the ice machine a filthy room combined with fraud and meth heads you will enjoy your stay.

The bathroom was very old and needed a big upgrade. Upon leaving i told them about it. Will not be going back.

This hotel should not be on hotel. com VERY BAD WE HAVE TO LEAVE AND BOOK A DIFFERENT HOTEL

when i arrived they said the room had a leak and cancelled my reservation. However, the booking through hotels. com was never completed and I still had to pay $89 for a room I didn’t have access to!

We reserved a king room and received a double. I went back to ask and were told they do that all the time but there were no kings available. The room was sold as non-smoking but had a very strong smoke smell and there was mold on the bathroom wall. The sheets were clean so we stayed as we were only there to sleep. They promised breakfast but it was grab and go and the people that left before us cleaned them out and there was nothing left other than some pre-wrapped bagels. And, it was before 8 in the morning - early in breakfast hours.

Well 1st room, shower didnt drain! Second room wasnt clean ( i have pictures) Corona glass bitle om left side of bed on floor from window,..... Qtips left on floor on right side of bed closet to bathroom Roach in telphone holder. Spoke to Feont desk an refund is suppost to happen. We will see Thanks, Unhappy guest after driving 574 miles!!

Smaller strongly of heavy duty cleaners. Do not need to breathe this. My bride revised to use the shower so I did not. We were promised a regular breakfast and this did not happen. Some things were put out in the entryway, but the lobby was locked up tight. The only real thing 'quality' was the paint job on the high sign...yet we could not see that up close. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked and the shower was hot. It was convenient to the interstate highway. However, the property was shabby and outdated. The location was sketchy. Shouting and arguing were heard late at night and early in the morning. The woman at reception was curt, but women at housekeeping was pleasant.

The Quality Inn was conveniently located next to the highway and has potential to be a really good place to stay. However, the condition of the property was tired. It could do with a refresh of the rooms and the property in general.
