Quality Inn Roanoke near Lake Gaston

All you hear is traffic al day and night. Dirty rooms. Will never stay here again!

Did not appreciate the refrigerator not staying closed. Live and dead bugs, pool was dirty. Got no sleep after a 14 hour drive because someone in the middle of the night kept knocking on my door many times and made me feel unsafe with my two children.

If someone offers me a night free to this hotel, i would say NO. After 13hours driving from Florida heading to Canada, I didn't have the thans to stay. All the pictures are fake, Expedia should remove it from its listing, the environment was unsafe, the room was dirty, the carpet smells horrible , stains everywhere, fake photos. Neverthless the staff at reception were very kind and friendly. sorry for them. The hotel chain should remove the word QUALITY, cause you will find everything but quality.

Carpet disgusting. Needs to be replaced ASAP. Pets hair in one of bed skirt. Comfortable bed. Basic breakfast. Cracker barrel, Gas Station next door.Easy check in and check out. Free water free coffee. Plenty of parking. 2 minutes right off I95.

We forgot our firebox safe in the room at checkout. Rotanya, the GM, did everything she could to get the safe back to us in Pennsylvania. It was such a stressful situation, but she helped us through it, and we got our safe back!

The only updated regrading this property is lobby area. Remainder of property same as it has been the past 7 years I've stayed here. I booked an accessible room with king bed. At check-in they moved me to a non-accessible 2nd floor (no elevator) room. Without telling me. Key card wallet had an accessible room # on it and it was scratched out and replaced by a non-accessible room #. Rather than cause a scene and ruckus. I presumed I mistakenly booked the wrong room type. After I got into the room and unpacked laptop, I verified yes, I had booked an accessible room. Too late now to change rooms. Stairs can be very painful for me that is the reason I booked 1st floor as I always do when staying at this location. If you book a certain room type, print out confirmation and bring it to check in

I have stayed at this Quality Inn dozens of times, over many years, usually 2 or 3 weeks at a time. I have always encountered friendly service, from the housekeeping to the operations staff. On this last trip, I inadvertently left my wallet there. After arriving home, 500 miles down the road, I was called by the hotel & notified that they have it. I give a hearty thanks to the manager, Rotonya Holmes, for her patience & diligence in returning the wallet to me. I look anxiously forward to my next trip north, and I can thank her personally.

It is antiquated and needs an overall.

The most filthy room I have ever seen. I tried to stay because there was a tornado watch and it was raining hail and extreme wind. I used my own linens to sit on the couch. Left ad soon as I could safely travel. Carpet was so gross, couch had burns, stains etc. bed had bug droppings on the sheets. This hotel should be closed and completely redone.

Very dirty room. Had to plug in tv for it to work. Very dirty behind tv. Vents in bathroom dirty. Everything dirty. Next to a gas station. Woke us up a 6 am. Never again Manager did not ask us how our stay was. Manager office could be seen from outside— it was a mess. Stayed on 4/13-14-2022
