Quality Inn Roanoke near Lake Gaston

Drugged out people kept walking by and asking for money. Wi-Fi not strong enough for a laptop. Looks like someone did a burnout on the carpet.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable enough. Plenty of parking and really quiet with lots of amenities close by.

I had a great experience staying here recently. I needed some extra help with my room location and to receive work supplies that were being sent to me, and Kim went above and beyond to help me on all fronts. Also, huge bonus that they offer free Tesla charging, very clean rooms, yummy coffee, and are located just around the corner from a delicious Mexican food restaurant, Don Juan. Thank you!

The evening check in was great

As a TA part of what I do is look at the quality of hotels and resorts to better inform my clients. Quality inn in Roanoke Rapids is in serious need of renovation it needs a total gut job. The HVAC needs to be updated the room we stayed it was so nosey 🙄 that we really couldn't sleep 😒. Housekeeping hasn't dusted since I don't know when. The money we paid was not worth it. To be honest if other properties were not sold out this Quality Inn would not have our business.

The price was right and breakfast is included. Room is a bit dated, but clean. I would definitely recommend.

Need a little more cleaning

Great staff

We have stayed at this location before, but this time our stay was disappointing. I made our reservations online as usual and requested a non-smoking first floor room (we are seniors 80 yrs old, and it's not easy for us to carry luggage up outdoor stairs anymore). Our reservation was confirmed, but when we arrived, they stated they did not have any first-floor non-smoking rooms (they use to). We had no choice, we had to take a second-floor room. We will not be staying here again.

My husband and I were stranded on the side of 95 3 hours from home with no idea where to go. We got a room here after ordering a part to fix our vehicle and getting towed. The part did not come in until the next day at 5pm. The general manager,Rotonya allowed us to hang out in our room out of the goodness of her heart and because she knew we were stranded until we could fix our vehicle. It really made a super sucky situation not so bad. We would totally recommend Quality Inn, Roanoke Rapids.The staff is very friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping, they were all amazing and made our stay very comfortable.
