Super 8 by Wyndham Shreveport

Where to start? Free breakfast was extremely minimal (cereal or powered donuts and that’s it), a/c in the room didn’t work, and the room was in disrepair and nasty. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

When we went for breakfast, staff opened our room to take blanket, without asking for permission !

There weren't enough towels, there weren't linnen for the sofa, which was dirty and had spots like puke on the downside of the cussions. The bathroom was damp and the door did not close. The breakfast contained cheap packed muffins and such

The guy who greeted us when we arrived the evening of Friday, August 29, was absolutely wonderful! We explained that we had other family members on their way from Texas and not only did he put us in neighboring rooms he allowed us to check in for them. Even told us that he would have put us in adjoining rooms, but one of them the air conditioner was not working properly.

Let me say that this room was literally a last minute resort. Driving into Louisiana we got a call from a different hotel telling us they weren’t honoring our 3rd party reservation and canceled our reservation. We had family coming in because we had a funeral to attend, and they booked this location and seen they still had rooms available. Check in was the last great thing about this location. The room which was supposed to be non-smoking had a faint stench of cigarette smoke. The last time the microwave was clean was probably when it came out the box. In the crevice of the bathroom door was a freshly killed bug and the tub was peeling. The bed sheets were filthy and for once I was not traveling with an extra blanket or a can of Lysol. I woke up Sunday morning and was greeted by a mama bed bug and two babies; and yes they got me. My right arm was covered in bumps for a few days, now there’s a scar from me scratching. The clothes I took there with me I sent to the cleaners out of fear of what May have traveled back to Atlanta with me. Honestly, if I had realized the location was on Monkhouse Drive I would’ve told my cousin, “thanks but no thanks,” and told them to find other lodgings. In one of my other trips to Shreveport, we stayed at a hotel we found on bookings.com on Monkhouse Drive, that was nasty and in desperate need of a makeover. That one at least didn’t have extra guests sharing the room with us. Please get a makeover and an exterminator immediately!

Guy iñ the office in the mornings the super rude and disrespectful. No patience and I understanding horrible experience he treated me and my family bad.,

We asked for additional towels to accommodate our family and was told to wait until 11:00. We would have to turn in our dirty towels first we were only asking for 2 more for my kids after continued explaining he finally gave us the towels. The room was not very clean.

That he was able to put my one night with my other two nights together because I had a funeral to go to I lost my father it was his funeral

The door had a opening in it, where up a few n a t s can fly in in the bathroom door should have been painted or maybe spray it was dirty at the bottom and the room had this old smell because the suites at super 8 or not upgraded they are way back as when the black screen TV first came out almost 20 years ago. And they say that they have complimentary breakfast but it's only cereal nothing warm.

That they were able to put the room stay together and the person was trying to be helpful

The smell of the room it's not an updated version maybe 15 to 20 years back when the flat screen TV first came out and the door had a opening and it's where a little flies come through it I think you need to be some seal put around the door. And it was not no warm breakfast it was only cereal and sweets, orange juice could have been more cold
