Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa

We booked a "Garden view with private lanai" which ended up being a parking lot view with a section of grass between the building and parking lot.

My wife booked the room here I have a loyalty account but they refused to honor my account because she was the one who booked the room. I contested it with Hyatt and they just blew me off stating corporate policy. Really stupid way of losing a customer for life. Yes I asked for the closure of my account.

Wonderful property, great for relaxation, outstanding dinning great people. The grounds were excellent to walk, the variety of dinning is outstanding with well trained staff the food was outstanding. Convenience of all amenities are well structured and easy to use.

For those with mobility issues: My husband uses a cane. Had we known, I would have requested a room closer to the main part of the resort. This is a sprawling resort and we were quite far from pools and restaurants. But at least we got our steps in! All of Kauai is beautiful, but the gardens and grounds here are next-level beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and our garden-view room was a short walk to a panoramic view of the ocean.

We love the Grand Hyatt. Location is top tier and plenty of amenities & services to make your stay as enjoyable as it can possibly feel.

We really enjoyed our vacation at the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa and can't wait to go back again. The resort is amazing with it having a pool, a salt water lagoon, and being near shipwreck beach. The food is wonderful and the staff is very welcoming and all very nice! They made our vacation special especially making my son's birthday trip special by providing a cupcake, apple cider, birthday card, and stuffed animals. Our room was facing the adult pool but we were able to have the view of the other pool and the ocean just by looking right! We loved that they had water bottles for their guest to refill all over the hotel and the umbrellas by the doors in case of the rain. My kids enjoyed being able to feed the koi fish for the five nights we were there. A memorable and special vacation.

Second stay. Last time on vacation. This time for medical conference. Beautiful grounds and well kept resort. Enjoyed globalist benefits including the club (food choices and staff were both excellent) . They were unable to provide late check out due to occupancy/another conference starting, but gave access to hospitality lounge to shower for later flight . Fitness classes are great. I like they provide umbrellas and chairs for sitting at the beach. We also used the bikes to go for a ride down to Poipu to see the turtles. Good poolside lunch also available .

An amazing property with great staff. The amenities are wonderful, everything from the pools, to the club lounge and fitness area. They provide refillable water bottles for the duration of your stay. They offer you sunscreen and after sun. Grand Club lounge was fantastic and a must if traveling with children. Saved so much on food. Location is great and the option of free self parking is a rarity

Great location with strong pool game and beach access. Food was decent but hotel is really staring to show its age. Good experience with staff but not over the top you would expect at a 5 star hotel.

Planning our trip to Kauai. Concierges must work on commission. If you are assigned to one concierge, others will not help you or assist you. Very frustrating with planning tours. Very very disappointed
