Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Airport

The tone of the stay at this hotel started when I had to wait 1 hour for the shuttle bus in the extreme cold. One has to call after arriving and the bus is sent on demand. After the initial call, I was told the bus was on its way and would arrive within 10 mins. Several calls later, the bus finally showed up an hour later, without any apologize for making me wait. The overall decor looks tired and worn. As I had an early flight, I went to the Bistro from a bit to eat. My second mistake. The woman who was alone tried her best, but she microwaved my dinner too much. As there is no kitchen then "food preparation" is done in front of you. Breakfast the next morning was even worse. They were expecting everyone to take their breakfast items back to the room. The oatmeal was margin in my cardboard bowl. Hard to make a mistake with the coffee. Leaving the hotel was equally adventurous. Went down to the lobby for the shuttle and was told that I had to wait one hour as the driver went on break. Have never encountered a hotel where there was no back-up driver. Had to take an Uber to get to the airport. Overall the hotel is tired, the food was marginal (being kind) and the staff's attitude was extremely poor. It felt as they were upset that they actually needed to do something for their guests. I was there to serve them. Will not make the same mistake again,

Very accommodating. We stayed this past weekend with family as a part of a group event. We found the staff very warm, accommodating, and focused on making our stay outstanding. The Bistro was very nice for an evening meal right there on site. The Bistro staff was marvelous. The property is very clean and well maintained. We would stay again should we need to return to Indy. I am often concerned about airplane noise when staying near an airport. There was none.

Nice property. Seems clean. Convenient to the airport. No issues. Free shuttle to airport a real plus (although we didn't get to use it this time).

Very nice stay. Staff was very welcoming!

I have given this hotel a chance twice. Will not come back a third time. First time the pool was closed, this time it's open but the hot tub is broken. Nothing worse than advertised amenities not being available. Rooms are pushing at least 20 years old, hallways and rooms are dated with stains on the fabrics. At over $200/night I expect quality, you should too. Avoid this place until it gets renovated.

I asked staff to call me prior to my arrival if there were to be any concerns with pool or hot tub being in service. We got checked in and both were out of service, and we had not been notified from anyone.

Elevator needs checked out, couldn't sleep because of weird noise in room. Not sure what it was. Frig or room next door and the pillows were super flat and uncomfortable
