Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe

Couldn’t get transportation easily via Uber. Front desk was unable to find a car to ABQ. It’s a nice property but the details seem to fall short of a Four Seasons.

The property was a bit removed from town, but that was part of the charm. It was beautifully situated in the hills of Santa Fe. Very peaceful and the scenery was stunning. Loved our casita. It was well appointed and spacious. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were such a nice surprise! The bathrooms were huge and heated floors were a thoughtful touch. We hiked the trail on property one day (highly recommend). We tried to get to the spa, but they were booked. Planning a return trip for a girls’ weekend and will be sure to book ahead next time! We ate several meals at the restaurant and the food was excellent. The only issue was the room key cards are very sensitive and demagnetized easily. We had to call the front desk and have them send new cards. To their credit, we had a new key in minutes! I’m sure it’s as frustrating to the staff as it is to guests. Can’t recommend this property highly enough. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic place, a great getaway

Girls weekend with spa services, hiking, shopping, eating and relaxing. All on site or close by. Great facilities, room and staff. We had a great time!!

Great hotel about 20 minutes out of the Center of sante fe. Good spot if you are looking for a relaxing retreat. The yoga was awesome!

Just amazing! I want to go back there to stay for longer. The facility is fantastic. Great food and wine selection at Terra. All in all i had a fantastic vacation!

For the cost of the Four Seasons and being a five star hotel, I expected more. The staff was excellent, rooms were well appointed and clean, but the overall quality of our room was not on par with what we've experienced at other five star hotels. For example, the window screen in our bathroom was totally bent out of shape, the door to the toilet was falling apart, and there was just no privacy between units. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing and the casitas are very close together as well (which you really notice when air conditioners kick on while you're trying to have a quiet afternoon on your patio). The restaurant was hit or miss, we ate there or had room service for most meals during our stay. The steak for two was phenomenal but the prime rib dinner was just weird - we each ordered it and it was totally inconsistent in that one had the taste and texture of a NY strip and the other was more like pot roast than prime rib. All in all, if their room rates aren't a big deal to you then you'll probably have a nice stay. If you're splurging on your room and are looking to get the most for your money, you might be better off looking at other hotels.
