We had a big, beautiful room overlooking Parliament House & the gardens. The breakfast/restaurant is still the best with delicious food, excellent service & silver service too.

It is a gem in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We loved the character of the building and the classic school service. For a building that embraces great history is neat and impeccable. The Buttler; Joseph is a treasure. Breakfast was delicious as were the snacks at the Cricketers Pub. Room service was also excellent.

"Mostly lovely but let down by poor quality mattresses and not enough warm bedding"

Room and bathroom were very nice , roomy and clean

The mattresses in the twin beds were very very uncomfortable- such a shame that you have put cheap crappy mattresses into such a lovely hotel. And the bedding wasn't very warm / I was cold in the night!!!!!

The Windsor is such a Melbourne icon. Such beautiful old world charm that you just cannot find easily today. Love the spacious corridors and beautiful main dining room. Friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, quiet, well appointed room. So well located for theatres and restaurants. I would love to come back to stay again.
