Terrible breakfast for a Hampton. Very thin towels. Backed up toilet. Card reader kept failing. Lobby carpet looked dirty

The hotel needs some TLC. It's worn and dirty. Carpets were sticky, room was not clean. We chose this hotel because of the Hilton brand but would never stay here again.

We stayed here on the way through and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice and bed quite comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected and the coffee was really good. When we pass this way again, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel.

Throughout just barely enough to meet franchise requirements. One of skimpiest Hampton standards. No dark roast coffee first time ever Hooks instead of closet.

The hotel was leaking water in the hallway on the 4th floor . It was very humid in the building it is very out dated and our bathroom has issues .

Room was huge. Staff were professional.

We have been staying in Hamptons for years btwn FL & MI every summer. This inn is mediocre but very convenient and within walking of a nice restaurant. It is an older property so rooms are a bit small but ours was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. The carpets in elevators and hallway need replacing as does some furniture. Pool was down for maintenance… not good in hot July. Good for overnight stay but not extended.

Price

Too noisy. Close to interstate and cheap windows allowed for too much noise. Hallway and elevator carpets need cleaned.

I booked this hotel quickly as my mom was in the hospital and I do not live in Rockford. I did not read reviews first, just quickly looked at the pictures on the Hilton app and booked a king room- huge mistake . When I arrived and walked in I could see things were very old, small, and run-down looking. The check-in desk was worn. The ceilings were strangely low. The chairs in the lobby area had very worn areas on them. The reason my digital key hadnt come through was because they do not have that sort of technology on the doors, which is odd for Hampton Inns. The elevator carpeting in both of them was so completely dirty and the doors and walls were not clean either. The room was somewhat banged up- rough looking chair, odd low ceiling, small dated bathroom, cords showing. It just was not a normal Hampton Inn. They seem to be using the branding without ensuring the effort and value that is expected for a Hampton Inn. I ended up feeling so uneasy there that I just left and went to the Home2, which was tons better. If you are used to regular Hilton Hampton Inns, this is not that- avoid!
