Room wasn’t very clean. Pool was filthy . There was a broken window with pillows sticking out of it! Creepy

Our rooms were booked in May 2024 for a trip in mid-July 2024. While on our final approach to Dayton, Ohio (from Bay City, Michigan), I was looking at the hotel information and noticed some unfavorable reviews posted after we had reserved. When we arrived we asked to see the rooms before we brought our luggage in. Although it was obvious that the hotel was still undergoing renovations, the renovated rooms were very pleasant. Very clean, new furnishings, and a nice bathroom/shower area. They were suite-like rooms with a large sitting area including a sofa, armchair, desk, microwave, and mini-fridge. Through an open arch was the bedroom and the bathroom. No complimentary breakfast is offered but the room rates were very reasonable. We ate supper the night we arrived at the on-site restaurant and the food was great. The location is very convenient to Interstate 75 and the Dayton Mall.

Pictures are very deceiving. Room not clean, very nasty, lied to 2x by front desk. No deli just chips & candy, no ice or vending on my floor, overcharged by $300. + no your pool was not working, they lied. Hiltons would never stay here. Never again.

It was dirty. Yes, they were doing renovations but they do not vacume the hallways. They have a policy where they only come to your room to clean unless you request it or on the 5th day of your stay! So I pulled out my trash bins in the morning, without requesting for them to come clean my room. The bins were still sitting outside my room in the evening along with all the particles of dust from the renovation all over the carpet in the hallway and indoor stairs.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. I reached out to the general manager and filled out their survey requesting a call back and still have not heard anything- it has been two months. The building was left wide open all day for construction workers I never saw. The place was filthy and equipment was left everything including toilets and rolled up rugs in the hallway. Paint was everywhere. The pool was closed, which was a huge issue for our soccer team. The fire alarm went off once with no follow up. Other families had filthy rooms with no towels, one family was missing the inside of the pull out couch bed, and another had no phone service or air conditioning.
