Great overall experience, Big Wayne in the front lobby provided my wife and I with amazing service! Staff overall were friendly helpful and respectful Geoff does work in the kitchen as well

No balcony

loved the hotel — the rooms were great, the pool was excellent, and the cookies were a nice touch. I had no issues at all during my stay and would definitely come back. The front desk customer service was average. Staff were not rude or unprofessional, but the interaction felt very basic and not especially cordial or welcoming. The restaurant was not really my type, so I preferred eating elsewhere at my own discretion.

After a horrible travel day of multiple delays, de-icing and high winds I made it to Tampa Double Tree 8 hours behind schedule hungry and tired. I was met by the friendliest smile and jovial attitude by front desk employee Rubin Raymond. He offered warm cookies and a room upgrade as I was a member. He was sympathetic to my travel and turned my bad day into a great one! He was super helpful during my entire stay. The room was clean, had a great view and staff was friendly and courteous. I loved the gym equipment and the hotel as a whole was accommodating and clean. So overall I would highly recommend this hotel and I hope you get lucky enough to have Rubin help you out. They are lucky to have such a great staff member.

Location was great in terms of nearby restaurants and views. By the bay. Great views. Got a sunset room and view was beautiful. Gym was decent as far as a hotel is concerned.

The room was clean.

I thought the area the hotel was located was very congested with traffic and the only way to locate stores, restaurants and pharmacies was to take the highway for everything. I thought the breakfast was very expensive and it was the same breakfast that I usually get at other hotels which is included in the price. Breakfast should have been included in the price, which was already high, or at least a Continental breakfast.

I had a fantastic check-in experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton, thanks to Rubin. He was warm, friendly, and incredibly efficient which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. His helpfulness and genuine care for guests made an immediate impression. Rubin is a true example of outstanding customer service, and he set the perfect tone for my stay. Highly recommend this property and hopefully you’ll have Rubin to make your experience extra special.
