Quality Inn Baton Rouge East I-12

The front lobby was renovated and very nice. However, the building where the room was located was old and dingy and looked like section 8 housing. The hallways were dark and unlit. The room was gross. Cigarette burns in the toilet seat, sticky stain on the floor and old hair all over the old carpet. Sticky residue on walls. Absolutely disgusting.

Really enjoyed my stay! A lot of reviews I read before my stay made me nervous but I was pleasantly surprised. No cockroaches, bed bugs, pretty clean, and no suspicious activity. Would stay again.

I will never book here again. TV’s in all room did not work and had not worked for over a week. Sure, you were allowed to cancel with no charge, but you weren’t notified until you checked in and by then it’s too late to get a room elsewhere on game night! I had to sign something saying I would not smoke in the room, but my room reeked of cigarette smoke. The toilet was not secure to the floor. They use the word ‘Quality’ very loosely.

Do not be fooled but the freshly refinished main entrance. The rooms are run down, smell of musty, have no working Tv or internet, the toilet did not work correctly, the shower rail was something to be desired, mirror and picture in the room where broken. The bed dipped badly in the middle and there was huge roaches. The breakfast included- was a few muffins that honestly I wouldn’t touch and cereal that was being stockpiled but local vagrants. The night desk staff has no hospitality and the early morning desk staff hid out of site to avoid questions This is not worth a 2 star rating nor is it worth the money!

NEED MY REFUND ASAP. BUGS IN THE ROOM, AFTER REQUESTING MY REFUND NO ONE RESPONDS SERVICE IS TERRIBLE NO ONE EVER GOT BACK TO ME. I DIDN’T STAY FOR THE 3 DAYS I BOOK AND I CANT GET A HOLD OF MANAGEMENT.

When I got to my room it had a bad smell. I sprayed some room spray. The a/c would not let me turn it off lower or raise the temp. It was a cold day so I was cold. I finally called the front desk and they were to call maintenance to come see about it. 30 minutes later still no one came. I called front desk again and then they decided to switch my room. They put me on the other side of the building were the lighting was very poor. Very dark area and I did not feel safe.

T.V. did not work. Room was dirty. Roaches roaming the room!!! Breakfast did not even had bread. No waffles. Orange juice warm, no ice Could not find room service personnel. Customer service was the worst I would never set foot on that property again.

Absolutely horrible

The pictures online were not what the rooms actually looked like. Very old and did not feel safe there. Breakfast was very limited. Would not stay again.

I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how this property still open for business. Front desk clerk rude and unprofessional, NO HOUSEKEEPER both days we were there and the maintenance is not kept up at all. Grass not cut, overgrown trees & shrubs not to mention the pool just filthy (non functional) full of dirty water, trash and algae. I went to checkout I had to FIND the front desk clerk who tried to brush me off because she was knocking on doors for checkouts. I then had to argue with her for a receipt because she didn’t want to go back to the desk she insisted I wait on an email. Just horrible! Total waste and I’m beyond dissatisfied. This place should not be open and this is not an exaggeration. Oh.. let me not forget what seemed to be prostitution in the room across from mine. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a hotel stay.
