"3 nights at Zanzibar Coffee House as a solo traveller"

Zanzibar Coffee House is an excellent choice for a stay in Stone Town, Zanzibar. It is an authentic Arabic building with dark wooden staircase and interior, a coffee on ground floor, a roof terrace and lovely decorated rooms. My room was spacious, on first floor with a comfortable bed. It had mosquito netting on the windows and a large mosquito net over the double bed. It is equipped with a ceiling fan, air conditioning, USB plug at the bedside, fresh water in glass carafes and glasses. The room is comfortable and kept super clean. From the moment I arrived at the hotel my experience was exceptional. The staff is superb, professional and bend over backwards for guests and they do so with a big smile. It was incredible to witness that they make everybody feel special. The hospitality is amazing. The Hotel is beautifully restored and full of energy. The location in the middle of Stone Town makes it perfect for strolling through the narrow streets of the historical part of the city and discover the old wooden doors and the many shops in close proximity. Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace and contained of a fruit platter, a coffee of my choice, a freshly made juice, seeded bread, home made jam and a muffin. You can order eggs of your choice. Thank you to everybody involved for your excellent and outstanding service. Every detail is well thought out, including plenty of drinking water available (no plastic bottles). All staff members I encountered were so polite, helpful and friendly, really made you feel welcomed. I had an amazing vacation.

"Atmospheric hotel in stone town!"

I just loved this hotel. In the old town. Great old building and wonderful renovation and decor. The staff are just lovely. The two lads in the reception were so helpful and the lady who serves breakfast upstairs is an absolute treasure.
