Sanga Nikko

A clean and beautiful facility with a homey feel! Our incredibly friendly host Yoshi helped us plan excursions, access public transportation and enjoy Nikko to its fullest. We would highly recommend!

Super Erlebnis - Yoshi als Gastgeber ist phänomenal, hat tolle Tipps und ist extrem hilfsbereit. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind schlicht aber sehr sauber und stilvoll. Auch die anderen Gäste waren extrem nett. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Ein ein eigenes Bad wäre schön aber da alles sehr sauber und rücksichtsvoll abläuft, geht es auch so gut.

Yoshi’s hospitality from the minute we arrived was unmatched with any other host experience. His kindness, warmth and gentle nature immediately made us feel at home. We had a few ideas of what we wanted to do with our time but Yoshi shared even better ideas and ended up creating us a full proof itinerary with maps, bus times, hand warmers and bear bells provided for an unforgettable 10km walk! I want to continue to list all the ways Yoshi and his wife Rie made our stay so special but I fear I’ll write an essay. Our most special keepsake was a photo that he took of us (he is a photographer among many other trades!) which was printed and ready for us to take home on our final day. If you’re considering visiting Nikko, staying at Sanga Nikko will MAKE your holiday, as often it’s not the destination that makes a fantastic holiday but the people you meet along the way🤍

Amazing hosts and a brilliant place to stay. Yoshi was beyond great - saved us hours of queuing with his tips and suggestions, made sure we could plan timings and logistics, helped us with boots when the weather changed, and even drove us to the station and helped with lockers when we were late. As a bonus he treated us to a photo shoot and also had coffees and granola for us in the morning. Definitely stay here!

We had a lovely stay at Sanga Nikko! Yoshi was the perfect host. We arrived before check in and he gave us suggestions on how to spend our day, and where to eat. He and his wife are super friendly and helpful. He even drove us to the station when we were leaving and helped us with the coin lockers. The room was so clean, with very comfortable beds. They offer free tea, coffee, sake and fruit around the clock. Would have loved to spend longer here!

No podemos estr más contentos con el alojamiento. Un sitio especial, comodo, tranquilo y muy cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas de Nikko. Yoshi, el anfitrión nos trato de forma muy amable, muy atento por si teniamos cualquier duda. Además también nos recomendó actividades y sitios para comer. Repetiríamos en este alojamiento sin ninguna duda

Comfortable room and close to the station and restaurants. Yoshi was the best host you could hope for; he couldn’t have been more helpful with booking restaurants, giving advice and even giving us a lift to one of the shrines. A highlight of our trip to Japan.

Yoshi und Rie sind fantastische Gastgeber. Die freundliche Unterstützung mit Ratschlägen für Ausflüge und zum Ausgehen war grossartig (sogar mit QR-Codes und Fahrplänen), und wir wurden mit dem Gepäck zum Bahnhof gefahren. Ideal gelegen in der Nähe von Bahnhof und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir waren begeistert.
