Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley

This is absolutely my favorite hotel to stay at in Napa Valley. Every detail - including the bespoke hospitality, in-room amenities, poolside service, and comfy beds - is just incredible. From a casual dinner and drinks at Truss to a seven-course Michelin meal at Auro, this resort has everything you need for a restorative (and delicious) getaway to wine country. I cannot wait to come back again and again.

Perfect place in the wine country.

We just enjoyed the best week ever at the Four Seasons Napa. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Estate Villa with private pool and were very sad to leave. We met our adult kids/spouses and our grandson in Napa and everyone agreed it was the nicest resort and villa we have ever stayed at. The general Manager Robby Delaney took amazing care of us throughout the week and Morgan Small, Guest Experience Manager, helped me plan each day's activities and dinner reservations at great spots near by. It was a perfect week from start to finish.

Excellent hotel well worth it's 5 stars. The rooms were top notch with everything one could wish for in terms of comfort. The bed was super-comfortable. We had a garden and pool view from our terrace which we loved. The view was gorgeous. We even had rabbits outside on the lawn as if on cue for Easter! The Easter brunch at the Truss Restaurant was pricey but amazing. The staff were wonderful, with everyone ready to help at the drop of a hat. We visited 2 wineries recommended and comped by the hotel - had a great time.

My very first experience with this hotel. I booked for two nights but meant to book it for three nights. I called the hotel and asked them to help me change the reservation to two nights. Here is my interaction: Four Seasons Napa Valley Reservation Person: "May I have your confirmation number please." Me: "I am sorry I don't have it handy." Four Seasons Napa Valley Reservation Person: "To modify your reservation I would need your confirmation number." Me: "I don't have it. If you need a confirmation number I can just cancel my reservation number and stay with a different hotel." Four Seasons Napa Valley Reservation Person: "Okay Sir, have a good day." Me: "Thank you, you too". Me: Cancelling the reservation!

Incredible hotel. Views, staff, dining etc all exceptional.

The hotel is in a wonderful location with great views. The complimentary cab they offer is the lobby is very good. Staff is amazing. Felt like a princess the entire time for my Birthday. Love the bar and how easy it is to retrieve your car. They offer complimentary drive to any restaurant within a 7 mile radius.

The beds were a little firm for me.

I am truly a Four Seasons fan and have stayed in their Santa Barbara, Milan and my favorite of all time, The George V in Paris, but I've never stayed at a casita-concept designed from scratch Four Seasons property. We had a very large suite, which was flawlessly appointed. I literally could not think of one thing which was missing (OK, the minibar fridge could have been a bit larger in order to make it useful, waaaa). They truly thought of everything, down to the toilet paper holder that incorporates a shelf on which to rest your cell phone. Genius! There is simply not much worthy of complaint. High cost comes with the territory, but it was dear indeed, costing the same as our recent 10-day cruise, especially as the county and state levied taxes seemingly derived from a fever dream. The location, which is in adorable Calistoga, is not ideal for easy access to the major wineries (there is a winery on the property as well as a really decent restaurant called Truss). No pebble was out of place, nor a bush allowed to be bushy. Everything was spotless. Everyone was super polite, and honestly so. I'm pleased we tried it, but for me, it was too sterile for my taste.
