Liquid Dive Resort

The staff are really friendly and the location is beautiful, you're staying in very cute, little huts amongst the tropical plants. The food tastes good, comes out fresh and the menu is huge.

It's advertised as a dive resort but it's not beginner friendly at all, only for qualified divers who are very comfortable with knowing what they're doing. My aim was to try scuba for the first time so I started with snorkelling and made it very clear I had never done it before. The guide gave absolutely no instruction, no help when water was getting into my mask, and overall it was a pretty scary experience which put me off diving with their team full stop. On top of this, when I was booking I made it very clear my goal was to dive at Apo island to see the turtles, which I was assured would happen. But the way they decide dive locations is done by majority first come first suggestion which resulted in the Apo island day already being locked in when I arrived to the resort, and it was on the day after I left. So even if I had had faith in the dive team, I would not have been able to go to the location I stayed there for.

There are a lot of ants. The water comes out red. There isn't even a small refrigerator to put medicine in. And the Expedia team said the hotel tax and all service charge were included. But $45.00 again charged tax and charge.

As always the ever smiling, friendly and helpful filipino staff. Their delicious food. The pool.

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are nice and comfortable. Good location, not far from Dumaguete city and easy to get around.

The shower head wasn’t very good but it was manageable

Resort itself was just fine, what made our stay at Liquid memorable was the amazing staff. Everybody, from reception to bar to dive masters, was super nice, friendly and also fun to hang out with. The cabins were accommodating, everything was clean and worked.

Everything was a little old/slightly worn down, but for us no problem. There was only one power socket in the cabin.

Great pool, good food and friendly staff. The bigger rooms are highly recommended as they are equipped with all comfort.

The bathroom needs to be improved. Water pressure too low, smelling brown water. And after taking a shower the complete bathroom was flooded.

Very accommodating staff, nice garden.

The access road isn't that great.
