Il materasso era “sfondato”

Location was safe and a close walk to everything. Gosh was attentive and assistive with questions. Property was clean and well furnished. A lovely stay.

It had a great location. The shops nearby were pleasant and the owner was very friendly.

La struttura è semplice, come dichiarato, ma molto confortevole e gradevole. E' situata nel cuore di Ortigia in posizione strategica. E lo staff è veramente gentile ed efficiente.

La gentilezza e la presenza dello staff pronto a soddisfare richieste e risolvere problemi (bravi!). Acqua nel frigo, una bottiglia di vino come benvenuto, un kit di base per cucinare (olio, aceto, sale, zucchero, riso, etc): ottimo. Il self check-in. La posizione: gli appartamenti - il nostro era una family room - sono in un edificio ristrutturato ubicato in uno stretto e silenzioso vicolo della Giudecca, vicini alle spiagge ma anche a due passi dalla magnifica piazza del duomo. Nei dintorni tanti caratteristici locali in cui fare colazione, pranzare o cenare. Poco distante anche un piccolo supermercato. L'appartamento, inoltre, è insonorizzato molto bene grazie anche agli ottimi serramenti - sia esterni che interni - ed è dotato di deumidificatore e climatizzatore. La porta d'ingresso si affaccia su un grazioso ballatoio interno, mentre i due balconcini sul vicolo, che è così stretto che si ha l'impressione di poter condividere un caffè con il dirimpettaio (è solo un'impressione).

Piccole cose. La luce in bagno - un po' troppo forte - che si accende con un sensore di movimento: da un lato è vero che evita di dover cercare gli interruttori di notte ma dall'altro si accende anche quando non ce n'è bisogno, ovvero di giorno, ed è inutile visto che il bagno, ampio e dotato di una grande finestra, è molto luminoso. Suggerirei anche di aggiungere un piccolo punto luce magari nella nicchia vicino al divano.

The location was right in the middle of the historical part of Ortigia. The bed was nice and comfortable.

We received no instructions on how to enter the apartment. We arrived and wandered around for half an hour until we met a group of Germans who spent some time and effort trying to contact Booking.com and eventually used the internet to find details of the entry code and also entry to the apartment. There was no electric kettle in spite of it being advertised as being present. The gas hob automatic light did not work. We had to buy a cigarette lighter to light it. The plug in the sink in the bathroom was jammed and would not close. There were insufficient toilet rolls

The location and the help of the host

The biggest MINUS is not working WIFI. And also just in front of the house - the construction is going on very loud (they said it will go the whole May and June 2024). You can stay in the house during the day - as it is impossible to rest there. You need to be outside and enjoy the long evenings. It is not the fouls of the host - but it is the reality.

Cosy apartment in a Great Location Full of amenities. Also a very kind and responsive host!

Wifi did not work and there was no coverage in the apartment. Glass wall dividing the bathroom and bedroom made everything visible & audible.
