Faraway Nantucket

The courtyard was so wonderful, beautifully cared for flowering pots everywhere.

The place is very charming, but go after the season opens as it does not have the bar open or the coffee shop open before the season is in full swing.

Only problem was the noise from the restaurant. Very clean and comfortable room.

Great hotel, great location, awesome staff. Our “Petite King” room was clean and nice but absolutely tiny and in the 3rd floor eaves so you couldn’t stand up. Next time I’d upgrade to another type of room but I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel appeared clean but our room was infested with carpenter ants.

Avoid room 503. I’m staying here currently and the wall outside my room has multiple heat pump units on brackets. Our room is vibrating from the units. Can’t sleep or relax. Have complained multiple times with no follow through. It’s impossible to get thru to the front desk. I keep getting sent to answering machine and I receive no call back. Totally unacceptable. It’s nighttime and should be enjoying time with my spouse. Instead we are troubleshooting the noise and wishing we brought our toolbox!? Not our normal nighttime vacation routine. Feel like I’m in an alternative universe that a supposed top hotel is non responsive on this. Unrelated, street noise outside room is noisy. And morning coffee/pastries available in lobby at 7:00 am is really 7:15 lukewarm coffee with no pastry. Was only looking for the coffee at 7 am sharp because I couldn’t sleep in the vibrating room and had been up since 4 am.
