Faraway Nantucket

We booked an extended weekend stay here in July at a not so cheap rate. After reading reviews thereafter, we sent an email kindly requesting to not get a basement hotel room. To no surprise, we get a room with one covered opaque miniature window, zero art and zero space apart from the bed. So if there is likelihood to book a premium rate and get a closet under the stairs as a room, why take the risk? Bad design Blue Flag Capital.

We absolutely loved Faraway. The rooms were charming and the location was superb. Whole in the heart of downtown, it was extremely soothing and restorative. The patio is lovely and the on site coffee bar was an added bonus. Having bikes , towels and beach chairs available was of immense value. We are already talking about when we can get back’

The hotel in general was perfect. The rooms, location, restaurant and specially the staff.

The property is meticulously maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything you need is walking distance from the Hotel.

Avoid this hotel. Tried to cancel my hotel reservation three weeks prior to visit and they refused to refund the entire stay.

Great location and convenient to shops and restaurants in town.

Excellent location, beautiful grounds, and nicely decorated. The food was also very good however, the service, at the front desk, as well as the bar, was hit or miss. The blonde woman at the front desk was the most courteous and helpful of those with whom we interacted.

Service was excellent, great location and within walkind distance of ferries and historic district.

Loved the vibes! Beautiful, lively atmosphere. No early check in or late check out available. And the coffee shop wasn't open on a Monday. Overall, beautiful!
