"Rio experience was a welcomed surprise"

Overall we had a very nice experience, rooms were clean with extra space. We enjoyed a concert featuring Danny from Count Customs 77 band. Thank you that was a nice surprise. Would recommend.

"The Rio is AMAZING!!!!"

My experience at the Rio was great!! Customer service was exceptional. Housekeeping was very accommodating. The newly remolded rooms were much better than expected. Very roomy and spacious. The decor was very nice. I had a strip view room and the view was very beautiful. My overall experience at the Rio was amazing!! It will be my go to for my Las Vegas trips from here on out.

"Overall good stay just a few maintenance and amenity issues"

Good location a little pricey for Lyft to the strip. Rooms were adequate but bathrooms didn’t flush correctly and took over ten hours for maintenance to come fix it. Methane smell from sinks all weekend. Pool was freezing cold and waterfalls were not on for the kid to enjoy.

"Pool was to cold to use"

I had issues years back and thought to give it a try again. When arriving I was met with the same speel I was told years ago. Valet is complimentary but since you have a truck it will be a $20 tip to park it. Get inside and went to check in and they couldn't put us in 2 rooms next door to each other. After having to switch floors we finally got 2 rooms next to each other. Toilet was not working, had to wait 9 hrs and the front desk blamed maintenance and vice versa, someone kept canceling the repair. Finally at 2am they came to look at it and replaced a part but still didn't seem to fill or flush right. Front desk manager didn't seem to want to help because it was a comp room. Didn't even offer to relocate us or anything and blamed maintenance. I slipped in a puddle by the front desk and when I told him about it he didnt seem to care or even send someone to cone it off so a potential fall would not happen. The pool was so cold it wasn't even enjoyable. For a supposed sold out weekend there was not that many people in the casino and no one seem to be winning a lot. This place is just going downhill, the water in the bathroom smelled horrible.

"Mystery Blood on the Sheets"

When I pulled back the sheets of my bed the first night there was mystery blood on the pillowcase and the sheets. You can't call the front desk. You're forced to speak with "Rio Rita," an AI system that is unable to help. I was finally transferred to a guy off-site who transferred me to Eric, his manager with a bad attitude. Eric told me I just had to wait until someone showed up at my room in the middle of the night or walk myself down to the front desk. There's no way for you to be transferred over the phone... I ended up calling Rio Rita again and demanded an operator until I was transferred to the onsite operator, Carina(?). She was properly concerned and kind. It took an hour before they got someone up to the room and he dropped the sheets (no pillowcases) and left. I attempted to remake the bed - still having to use various comforters and pillows from before. Half an hour later a guy covered in PPE came to collect the "Bio" but I still had to grab it and give it to him. They never changed my pillows or completely redid the room over the next 2 nights... truly upsetting and beyond gross... at least the view of the strip was nice...

"Great room for a group of friends"

My friends and I went to Vegas for a concert at Allegiant and needed a reasonably priced place to stay while we were there. The Rio did not disappoint! Our room was well maintained and clean and much larger than other rooms at other hotels we have stayed in. A great size for a group of friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price was great. We would definitely stay here again. Also love that they do not charge for parking. While this location is Off the Strip it is still in a convenient area and I almost liked it better that it was not on the busy strip.

It was very far from everything. I was overcharged $300.00. When I called, I was forced to only deal with AI who refused to let me speak to a human. I spent 40 minutes trying to speak to a human. Finally I was send to a human. Befor that happend I was hung up on.
