Renovated rooms are in pretty poor condition. Shockingly rough sheets and bedding. Single ply toilet paper and tissue, was really quite terrible. Towels were horrible. Some showers just didn’t work in some rooms. I would never have stayed here if I had known the true quality of the rooms. I’m shocked this is a Hyatt property. Parking areas were also grungy and dirty. I really regret spending my hard earned points to reserve these rooms.

If you enjoy wasting more than an hour to check-in because the kiosk don't have rooms available to assign anyone and there isn't enough front desk staff to handle the customers, have we got a property for you. Even better is the utter lack of follow thru to text back on a room like they claim. And it doesn't stop there, walls so thin you can hear everything from a room next door, or just out in the hall. Great for entertainment or if you've been getting too much sleep. Only two working elevators so you can waste more time going to/from your room. The elevators have card readers which is good, the fact one doesn't work reliably is a nice touch. And for security they thought of everything. During the day someone to check key cards using a different broken scanner, and at night...nobody at all. Housekeeping doesn't mop bathroom floors. Rooms are big, but bare and that's a newly remodeled. Solid tv size and system though. Good water pressure and temp. Bed isn't comfortable. Great food options. Pool looks nice.

The hotel was Clean the room was spacious the staff was great. And the location was perfect for the event.

The only problem was that 4 elevators were not working when the Hotel was hosting a volleyball tournament. This made for long lines that should not have been.

The redone Rio is lovely place to stay and since it's off the strip traffic is not a problem and the surrounding area is quite and peaceful.

Room was awsome!!!!! Great colors and furniture. Except water pressure was very weak and a very slick shower floor. everthing else was good in the casino. Bad sit down experience at Luckley and KJ Dim Sum & Seafood had to leave both due to lack of service, no service staff even greeted us for 10 min, after they gave us water they just did not come back, so we left after 20 min. Not saying (and I am hoping this was an exception) the Rio is a bad place to eat just sharing my experience. the Canteen was very good and had great options for reasonable prices.
