Ellington Lodge at The Concorde

The easy location and everything was smooth sailing... I liked the fact that there was a note in the rooms telling you about the quiet periods and to respect others I like the fact that they done this. The staff were lovely restaurant on the premises which was great and the welcome I got in the restaurant was great.. I travel alone most of the time and I said to the receptionist I will be back just to stay a bit longer rarther than having to rush off to catch a train... All I can say is I can't wait to stay again but will be out of season away from people who like to get up at the crack of dawn and bang around their room. The staff.. Hotel food.. Drinks... and room were brilliant.. You are an amazing establishment.

Comfy bed, good location, great breakfast

Air con didnt work, room not as clean as it could be, lots of cobwebs

Quiet and clean with welcoming tea and coffee supplies in the room. Good bathroom toiletries and above all- decent thick loo rolls that didn’t disintegrate on use! Friendly and helpful staff even though I arrived late evening.

Having to walk outside to the restaurant especially in the rain however once there the breakfast was good.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Despite what other reviews have said, I actually thought the rooms were well decorated and inviting - bathroom was particularly nice. Everything clean. Plenty of room to park.

As is sometimes the case, the walls between the rooms are thin and you can’t help,but hear your neighbours conversations or their tv’s. Luckily my neighbours went to sleep relatively early but I would recommend earplugs.

Staff friendly, facillities clean, food nice.

Facillities dated, carpets would benefit from shampoo, room clean but needs to be updated.
