This hotel is outstanding in so many ways. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean with incredibly friendly staff. The pool is an oasis. There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this hotel is. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It is worth coming to Jodhpur just to stay in this hotel….. and the food is delicious. If you stay here you will be treated like a Maharajah!

The villa is very nice and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The garden and pool are very nice for afternoon and dinner, with nice music playing in background. Not far from the major sites but a very nice place to return to after visiting monuments.

What a gorgeous hotel - it's beautiful and feels a real privilege to stay in this heritage property. The staff are delightful, our room was beautiful and we had delicious food. Highly recommend!

The hotel is well set back from a busy road and is very peaceful. The gardens at the front are lovely and the old family mansion is impressive. We had a pool facing room. This is a nice upgrade as you can easily access the pool. The pool is lovely. Surrounded by walls covered in flowering bougainvillea, it’s very pretty. There aren’t a huge number of loungers but we never had any trouble getting one. The pool is quiet during the day as most guests are out and about exploring Jodhpur. There is a lovely terrace restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s very nicely furnished and the staff are charming. We had two good dinners there. We had breakfast inside as the mornings were quite chilly in February. The food at dinner was delicious. We had one chicken curry, one vegetable curry and rice and it was masses for two. They have delicious mini pyramid shaped poppadums which appeared with pre dinner drinks. Gin and tonics were very nicely served, nice glass, lemon, ice cubes in a bucket, individual tins of tonic which were ice cold. I like this sort of attention to detail! Our bedroom was slightly dated but well furnished and had everything we needed and plenty of space. The bed was comfortable. They brought me an ironing board and iron immediately on request. Very nice, helpful staff all round. The only negative was the bathroom, it was absolutely horrible! It was all in dark grey marble. It was like a mortuary. The shower tray was set below the floor level so you had to step down into it. It was quite deep and huge! Unnecessarily so, you could have got 6 people in that shower! It just wasn’t nice. Despite the bathroom we really liked this hotel, it has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Foods good too!

The most authentic, beautiful and luxurious boutique experience. Still owned and occupied by an esteemed old Rajasthani family with their history infusing the whole hotel. Staff, food and setting superb. An oasis of class and calm in Jodhpur
