KEI had booked a studio deluxe room, and the day of check in it was not available. I was given a deluxe room in a shared apartment. I refused to take the same, and they blocked the rest of the apartment for other guests. There was no hot water. Upon complaining, nobody bothered to have the same checked. While I was attending meetings on day 2, they kept sending messages that I should pay and register my details, as they didn't bother the day before. 2 staff members could not figure out how to run a credit card, I was forced to pay by Mpesa. On the day of checkout, they refused to keep my luggage and insisted I pay an extra day for storage of my luggage. The ladies are incompetent and not fit for the hospitality industry.

AUThe apartment was very spacious and the rooms were large and very clean. The bathrooms were large and clean. There was a large kitchen with a fridge and a large living room which was great for our family. The view out the window into the garden was lovely.
It was not clear when we arrived as to where to go to find the key box. There were no lights to see anything inside the hallway. We arrived very late and the security people had no idea and no interest as to what we were to do. Luckily we had a family member who was Kenyan and solved the issue for us, otherwise I dont think we would have gotten in. The other issue we had was that the lock on the balcony door did not work which is not great in Nairobi. The door was easily accessible by the apartment next door as it was a shared balcony.

The bathrooms need to be redecorated as there were cracks, and the plaster was coming off. one of the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Also the fridge wasn't working properly.

The shower took very long to get warm so the morning of check out we showered with cold water.
