Santa Barbara Inn

Comfortable bed, very good location of the hotel, breakfast was very good and overall professional and friendly staff, including the valet. Good size room. Bed a little too soft for our taste and the bedroom linens could use an update. But overall satisfied with our stay to this beautiful town and the surrounding area.

We loved the size of the hotel, its proximity to the beach and the fabulous Convivo restaurant.

It was quite a walk from the down town area. We walked in the day but Ubered at night.

The outside grounds. Staff was nice.

Charge for parking. Restaurant was like a nice cafeteria. Beds were too soft. Interior was a bunch of long hallways. Locations forced travel by car to other restaurants, etc. Overnight price way too expensive for what was offered.

It was across the street from the ocean. Beautiful view!

It was very irritatng to have to go down to the lobby to get coffee in the morning! Every other hotel I know has coffee makers in the room! I just went down with my bathrobe, my hair mess, but I didn’t care because that’s what they’re forcing us to do, so that’s what they’re going to get. We had a family reunion there and I found out that if you booked directly with the hotel, you got $25 credit towards breakfast in the restaurant. But on Booking.com, I was told that is not included. For such an expensive hotel, you would think that you would at least have a buffet breakfast. But no,You have to order off the menu. I was told that the restaurant was trying to force your attendance to buy there.

The valet was nice and helpful. The server at the restaurant Convivo for our lunch was good.

THE DISGUSTING MUSTY & MILDEW SMELL IN OUR OLD DATED ROOM WAS AWFUL. We left with headaches from the smell and had to wash everything that was brought into the hotel as the smell permeated everything. The furniture, furnishings, bedding, pillows - all of it had the musty mildewy smell.

Loved the location.

No microwave.
