Ein wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Altstadt von Santa Barbara ist zu Fuß (am Strand entlang) oder Rad und/oder Taxi/Uber in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Alle weiteren Ausflüge sind von hier aus perfekt zu starten. Das gastronomische Angebot im Hotel (ob Frühstück oder Abendessen) ist fantastisch. Die Servicekräfte bei Ankunft, Check-In, Restaurant oder Poolbereich sind sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und bei Wünschen sehr schnell. Der Pool ist super schön, mit ausreichend Liegen und ebenfalls einem guten gastronomischen Angebot. Selbst vom Pool aus ist der Strand zu sehen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wunderbar eingerichtet und wurde täglich top gereinigt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Hotel nur jedem empfehlen.

It's a beautiful, classic hotel with upgrades that make it modern and clean. We didn't go to the pool or spa but I love that there's that option. Everyone is very kind and hospitable. Even the valet team was helpful and supportive. Location is perfect if you want to be close to state street, but far enough that it's calm and clean. Partial ocean view was perfect.

Nice hotel. Right next to the beach. Good restaurant on site. General Manager was extremely helpful when we had some issues about the room. Housekeeping staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and take care of your needs. We would definitely stay here again.

I'm updating my original review because this hotel deserves it. After a disappointing first experience, the team from Santa Barbara Inn personally reached out and invited me back for a complimentary stay. That gesture alone told me everything I needed to know about what this hotel is about (and I dare say, it is rare to see this in Santa Barbara)— but what followed was something truly special. I arrived early, and check-in was seamless. No hassle, no waiting, just a warm welcome that immediately set the tone. The room was exceptional — beautifully appointed, every detail considered, the kind of space that makes you exhale the moment you walk in. The view stopped me in my tracks. The pool was pristine and felt like my own private retreat. And the service — every interaction, every small moment — was attentive without being intrusive, gracious without being rehearsed. In the interest of full transparency: I am a Santa Barbara Local Hero recipient, an Advisor on the Board of Advisors for Women in Leadership at UC Santa Barbara, and a business owner in Santa Barbara. I recently relocated to West Palm Beach to expand my business, but I remain intimately familiar with how businesses in Santa Barbara operate — the standards, the culture, the level of care that this community expects. I say all of this because I don't give praise lightly, and I know what excellence looks like in this town. This hotel blew my mind. Ethically. Experientially. In every possible way a hotel could. They didn't just recover from a misstep — they revealed who they truly are. And who they are is extraordinary. I will absolutely be back. 5 stars. Earned in every way. Meh February 2025 I had such high hopes. When we arrived (10pm on a Wednesday) there were homeless encampments on Cabrillo. I know this is not the hotel’s fault but SB has a huge problem. The day after our arrival, I asked the hotel if they could help Me book a massage. They said no, I had to call some 805 wellness. Well, this 805 whatever had no phone - just a form to fill out. Never received a response to the form anyway. Pros. Location and rooms were nice-ish. Cons. So much. Our room was over the parking lot. Not really ideal. Front desk was genuinely useless. Today, we left early to get to the airport on time and the doors to exit were locked . No one at front desk 5am. We were forced to walk all the way around the hotel to find an exit with our luggage. When we walked thru the parking garage the young lady who was the valet was there and I told her the doors were locked. She said “yeah I needed to go get some coffee- so I locked everything for a bit”. It’s not rocket science- but this was the general feeling- this hotel May be ok, but it had no soul. They could care less about people. Would not return

Very friendly and professional staff. Beautiful location by the beach. The decor and attention to detail is impressive. Convivio Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was spot on. All in all, the best luxury hotel we have visited in the area. Recommend highly.
