No breakfast
The corridor smelled so bad, the water was dirty. The shower water was extremely cold
the sink was clogged and drained very, very slowly. There was 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel. they could not find another clean washcloth. In the morning --- we found bugs!!!! 2 on bathroom floor AND 1 under the bed pillows. We did not stay for our 2nd night reservation.
Let me preface this by saying, my husband and I love to find sh*tty hole in the wall motels. It’s one of our goals on road trips. With that being said, this was worse than even we could handle. It started out fine, we were pleasantly surprised to see the lobby looked updated and had an air freshener scent. Upon checking in, we were told they couldn’t make keys and we could get one later. We were then told our door was open, and we could just head in. We thought this was strange, but just wanted to drop our bags and leave. The room was a lot worse than we were expecting based off the lobby and the online photos. It was dingey, smelled of stale smoke/mold and half the lights didn’t work. We thought whatever, it’s just a place to sleep! We left to wander around and grab dinner. We told them we would grab a key when we got back. We got back to the motel around 12:30, and the air freshener smell was gone and the odor was overpowering. We were told we still didn’t have a key to our room, the employee then walked over and unlocked our door and walked away. We thought this was strange, so we put the chain on the door and went to bed. When we woke up, the strange events really began. There was a full toilet full of sh*t, a seriously appalling amount of crap in this toilet. This came from neither of us, so we are scratching our heads how this could have happened. We then realized the chain was not on the door anymore. This hotel is trash. I wasn’t given a key to my room because the reader was broken, so every time we needed to enter our room, we needed to go to the front desk to get the employee to let us in. Saturday night we waited for 10 minutes ringing the bell until we finally called the hotel to get someone to come to the front desk to let us in our room. The room was barely over 50° when we checked in. The sink didn’t drain. The couch was broken, and there was a mouse in our room. Trash. 0/10.
I loved the food. I wish the pool would of been available
It was an old hotel that was clean but outdated. The pool was closed, the TV channels were very limited and the bar and grill was closed. For a quick night stay it's a good price. The breakfast is olny served on the weekends.
They didn’t have a key card since the machine is broken and we are right by the exit and asked us to leave door ajar if we lefted. They didn’t upgrade us to a better room since bathroom sink didn’t drain
Nothing as stated on expedia website! Dirty carpet broken down couch. Smelled. No breakfast, no pool. Found cockroach on dresser! Stay away!
