The staff are very polite and courteous and the hotel is in a nice quiet area near the Mississippi River and the beautiful bluffs of Wisconsin.
Our Valentine’s Day was spoiled by the experience at this hotel. I had booked a Luxury room with a king bed to enjoy after a nice dinner in the city. We were given one (out of two) working keys to a room with two double beds even though King bed was in the description that I signed at check in. No upfront communication about that. Response when I pointed it out was simply “We don’t have any king beds. You didn’t book with me; you’ll have to call someone if you want to cancel.” Completely rude! If there was an error in their system or coordination with Orbitz, he could have called in advance or at least mentioned the snafu upon check in and offered to cancel if it wasn’t satisfactory. It wasn’t and so we ended up driving 40 minutes north in a snowstorm that we had wanted to avoid. Pitiful.
AWFUL
No heat for 3 days...2 days no water. No breakfast.....Pay more and go somewhere else.
Misleading
First time staying here. The staff was outstanding and my particular room was clean, comfortable, quiet and overall very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and based soley on my experience, I would recommend this hotel to others.
No heat or pillows in first room. Second room bathroom door was broken. Both rooms were unclean-cans under bed. Toilet was terrible. I would recommend that you do not do business with them.
Upgrades needed! Bathroom faucet leaked when water running. Other than that all things worked in room that needed to. Window was not difficult to open. I stayed in a room here in August 2024 and that room the a/c D’s not work and it was extremely hot day/night. The refrigerator in room also did not work. Staff was hard to get ahold of due to motel being almost if not fully booked that night.i understand lack of staff. If that is the case than need to take less guests or make other necessary adjustments for motel/business. Whole motel could use upgrades and remodel. It’s in a good area by local airport. I question how many people may use it that have flown in or flying out… overall yes 1star. This stay was much better than the one I had in August last year and say they deserve the q1 star. If I were to have wrote this in August I would not have wanted to give them any stars.
Very dirty bathroom. Tv didn’t work. No coffee . No pool. No hair dryer. Stains on bed spread. Will never go there again.
These rooms were filthy, needed a lot of updating, and to be cleaned properly. In my opinion, it should probably be condemned or completely renovated.
