Blue Way Inn La crosse Extended Stay

place looked like it was under new ownership. Going under some renovation. No restaurant no pool dirty hallways. The room was clean enough but the brand-new TV on the wall was not completely unpackaged. Was not programmed to work. When I checked out I mentionedd that to the front desk and they didn't seeem to give a damn. Would never stay theree again and it makes me question going through Expedia next time.

I wouldn't recommend this place. Very dirty, and unkept. I was rented a room that had no working toilet, and the water didn't work in the shower. The place was very dingy. I choose this place purely due to the low cost, however after the night I spent there, I would benefited paying the extra for some place else.

Sink was bulged, no place to hang cloth, no washcloths, only one hand towel.

Got there was ignored by staff for a little bit. Smelled horrible carpets were disgusting

They are in the process of complete restoration/remodel. Price was good - they are progressing nicely.

Awful. No shower curtain. Smoke detector not fully in place, and hanging by its own wiring. My texts to the number posted at the front asdesk follow. (1) Hello. I spent the night at the Norwood hotel in La Crosse. I tried to call, but no one answered, and I was unable to leave a message. (2) I have checked out of my room. I am communicating with you to register a huge complaint. (3) When I got ready to step into the shower, I realized that there was no shower curtain. I was appalled that this essential service was not in place. (4) I also noticed that the smoke alarm was not fully installed, and was hanging by its own wires. (5) I am a deeply dissatisfied customer, and I want to know what you are going to do about it. Please contact me this morning. Thank you. ----- Before check-in, the staff member had me review the room. When doing so, I failed to notice these problems, which I attribute to it being a very long day and to a confidence that nothing major would be overlooked or out of place. I take responsibility for not noticing these things, which have never been a concern in any other hotel at which I have stayed. --- No one has contacted me as yet. Disappointed ans somewhat irritated at the lack of response.

Smells bad.

Booked online, showed up and told we did not have a room. They could tell I was angry and put us in a room. Told us the AC might quit and he could bring us a fan. Room was dirty and the knob was not even secured for the sink. Took picture of the stained bed. Place is under a half ass in house construction and a filthy mess and stinks. Pictures online are not even close to what this place looks like.

The pool was closed, the ice machine was broken, the hotel was VERY filthy, had a weird smell to it, had a very unsafe feeling to it. Very shady people around. The only things that have been cleaned or updated are the pictures shown in this listing, everything outside of those few images are squaller.

This property was noisy, poorly maintained and didn’t feel safe. They challenged me on my reservation (tried to give me a room with one bed instead of two). When I got to the room they intimately gave me, there was visible debris on the floor, grease and grime on the furniture and the sheets looked slept-in. I notified the staff that the room had clearly not been cleaned and they gave me a new room which was much better. It looks like most of the building had fallen into disrepair and they save the few acceptable rooms for those who complain. It seemed like there were people living there and generally felt unsafe.
