st marys mount

When we stayed at St Marys mount we was greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our room in the attic. This was a lovely room which had its own lounge, and ensuite bath/shower room, bathroom door might be a bit short for some people. The room was quirky, Clean, and spacious with tea/coffee facilities/Tv ect. The Breakfast was very Good with great selection and lovely coffee. We would definitely stay again if we were passing Thank you.

What a beautiful home you have. Karen looked after us so well. She's really caring. Beautiful gardens, pity about all the rain so we couldn't sit out. Great views.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was fabulous: fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt on a buffet plus a great choice of cooked options, all perfectly prepared and served by Karen, who was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with a superb bed; and the separate lounge area was a bonus. The shower was really good and there was plenty of hot water. It's an old-fashioned but beautiful property.

The entrance to the property is quite difficult and signage is quite poor. The room was in the roof-space, so it could be a bit of a problem standing up straight around the edges, we banged our head a few times; and because of the angle of the roof there is no mirror over the handbasin, making shaving difficult.

Fabulous breakfast, everything you wish for. Karen very lovely person, makes you feel totally at home. Fantastic place, nature all around, lots a birds, mistly crows though, but also chiffcaffs (?). You just don’t want to leave it… Thank You!!!

Old Victorian house with all the charm of the era

The rooms are large so difficult to keep warm so a little cold at times with the winters weather

It is a very welcoming place, it is cozy, once it used to be family home, it is full of history and wonderful artefacts, I stayed in the room in the attic, had extremely peaceful rest at night, everything about this place is quality, the host is welcoming and helpful and prepared me a lovely breakfast, thanks so much

I have nothing to complain about, one thing to note is for the ones who are driving, there is a place to park at the bottom of the road before you enter the property, the Stone Gates to the Property Drive were too narrow for my 4x4, but as I said there is space before reaching the property

Very good location close to but outside town centre, efficient & friendly staff, characterful building beautifully decorated, excellent breakfast

Heating was not very effective in winter, Toilet flush mechanism a little eccentric, but it worked!

The house was beautiful and in a lovely setting
