The location is excellent, very close to the Magnificent Mile. Our room was nice with a city view. Two issues - front desk staff is not friendly or accommodating and act like they are doing guests a favor by speaking with them. Secondly, the valet parking is $75 a night, has one person and is ridiculously slow. For that price service should be top notch.

The staff was incredibly rude since the moment I checked in until the moment I left. The amenities are good, breakfast is delicious, location is great, but the customer service kills the whole experience.

Check in took forever. the property has a MANDITORY $99.95 Daily Guest Benefits Fee (waters, internet, breakfast) and a heavy service charge $40 that has to be paid at check in. it seemed many of the guests were not aware. I was but used expedia to book it. People arguing/not aware caused check in to be slow. I felt sorry for the people working behind the desk, sorry, it can not be waived, sorry it can not be paid in cash, sorry, sorry. Rooms are decent sized, somewhat dated but clean overall. Great location. Elevators can take a while/older building, smaller elevators. Overall price wasn't bad given great location, but not sure I'd stay again.

"Good hotel"

We did not appreciate housekeeping knocking on the door at 8:15, and then using their key to enter when we didn't get to the door within a minutes time. We were only there one night and were checking out that day. Check out was not until 11:00. I don't understand why housekeeping would be trying to clean our room at 8:15. Annoying, but front desk staff was great and the breakfast was great.

"Great stay"

We loved our stay! Check in took a good while but other than that the hotel was great, staff was amazing, and the room was good! The rooftop area was such a great touch. Budget friendly which you can’t find in that area!
