Excellent stay

Neat & Clean room. Minimalist. Nice & friendly reseption. A walk away from 2 Tram Stations -Tinghuset & Stortorvet . Karl Johan gate. Grocery. shopping centers.Restaurants.7-11.

Pros: excellent location, good price for a short stay. Good clean bathroom. Free Wi-Fi Cons: Uncomfortable beds, our room door didn’t lock so had to take some of our belongings with us. Can be a bit noisy - but comes with the location. It’s good for staying for one night, which is what we were doing. Not sure I would stay here for longer then a week.

There was a constant noise coming from the window area, not easy to sleep, room was on the smaller side, bathroom was clean, location good.

The stay was pleasant. The room is clean even though it is a bit spartanian, but that is the game's name. If you want a central place to stay in Oslo to a decent price, I can recommend this hotel.

The building aside it is under major construction. They put me right next to that. Once again a p hotel has a fan you cant turn off blowing cold air in your face all night. This time it had a heating unit. It blew hot air from the other direction. No showere door. 3 tv channels. Told me its a budget hotel. From 1970? Trolley noise.

Condition of bathroom was very poor. Lighting of public areas (e.g. stairs) very bad. Storage in the room non-existent. It is in a central city location so with no air-conditioning and the windows open street noise (trams, street cleaning machines and revellers through the night) made the room very noisy.

Limited channel choice Not very clean

Stay was good check in and check out was easy and staff was lovely. The location of the hotel was the best part as it was just 1 min down the road from Oslo Cathedral and very close to everything in the city centre. In terms of the room, the bed was quite comfortable and room was clean, we did not find it noisy at all but our window was towards the inside of the building rather than towards the street. The only problem we had was with the bathroom, the toilet seat was not properly ajusted and kept moving, the sink was probably blocked as when using it water would take a while to go down and the shower in its self was quite clean, good water temperature and pressure but for some strange reason they decided to not put a shower base so when you shower a lot of the water just goes everywhere in the bathroom which can be a bit annoying. However for the money and location it was fairly good and clean.

Overall this hotel is centrally located, close to public transit and walkable to all the sites. The hotel itself is comfortable, but very basic. Rooms are clean have only the necessities, and are fine if you are only looking for a place to sleep.
