Excellent location, lovely view from my room. Loved to watch the planes taking off and landing. Oh… the front desk and that lovely cookie experience ( best eaten fresh out of the drawer) 😆

I will definitely stay here again if at SFO. The staff were friendly, the room clean, and a bonus - the shuttle runs every 15 minutes, and makes no stops TO the airport, and only one from the airport.

"No soundproofing"

Hotel looks nice but is obviously dated. Front desk confirmed it's more than 30 years old. Rooms look a little old and carry the smell of age but the main thing to note is that the soundproofing is almost non-existent. I've stayed in multiple airport hotels with views of the tarmac and I've never experienced the volume of noise like at Doubletree. It would come rushing in as a plane took off. I'd been in transit for 3 days and on multiple planes, so arriving to this at 11pm at night made me want to cry. Front desk were unhelpful, telling me that every room will have the same issue.

"Average airport hotel"

A several hours stay due to airline's arrangement. Dark in and Dark out. Good part: 24 hours shuttle - although it may not be on time around midnight Room is spacious Welcome cookies - very warm Bad part: Need some upgrade - outdated Noise from the airport - my room don't have any view but can hear the noise of taking off clearly the whole night.
