Hampden Apartments - The Charles

Loved this place, nice and roomy, comfy beds, great location. Saw soldiers on horses going passed which was great to see.

Some lights didn't work which we advised host Another comfy sofa in the lounge, or an L shaped sofa would be nice for slightly bigger groups to add to the comfy feel. The two chairs in the corners were alright. The cot provided didn't have a mattress so we added some blankets to make it more comfortable for the baby.

Clean and spacious

Fantastic location and safe gated accommodation. Lovely to have the outdoor space too! Jeremy the owner was very helpful with everything too !

Spacious apartment with parking, and we were grateful to the owner for allowing us to park an extra car in the car park. 15 minute walk to town was good. Condiments supplied were helpful also. Ice machine handy. Hand soap and radox supplied.

While I'm not saying the place was awful, I do feel i overpaid for the general standard and would not stay here again. Spa bath did not work. We reported to owner but he said he didn't know what to do and did not offer to fix. If you sell a flat with a spa bath this is something that is expected to be used.I don't go by what others say, but on this occassion, I have to say I agree with the other things people have pointed out that need looking at. Place needs a bit of general care, not as clean as could be. Kitchen needs a few things, such as oven gloves, pizza cutter etc. Quick start guides for appliances save the stress of trying to figure something out. Wine chiller did not get cold enough no matter what. A coffee machine would have made it feel a bit more luxe.

Lovely spacious flat in a great location for Windsor.

Bedroom window didn’t open so room was very hot and the bedroom carpet was very stained.

The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. The free parking also brought us great convenience. The owner graciously allowed us to park in their parking lot until late afternoon of our departure date.

The window of one of the rooms cannot be opened. It was hot even with a fan. Some light bulbs were broken.

Big space, location good

Lovely apartment but could do with some general maintenance. Some windows couldn’t be op n so very hot in bedroom and fans covered in dust.
