The property is really old and seems really run-down compared to the hotels nearby. I was expecting average but this didnt come anywhere close to my expectations

"Hot...and not in a good way"

No air conditioning and the rooms are so hot we couldn’t sleep. Was in a good spot and nice enough rooms but definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

OK location. Don't turn right outside of hotel. No AC, bathroom small but functional and clean. Good cealing fan...very necessary. Not worth the price, but good for San Fran.

"Expensive but good location"

The hotel is well located for Market Street, a 10min walk away, however it is also surrounded by numerous homeless camps. This could be said of a lot of hotels in the centre of San Francisco however. The hotel itself is somewhat dated and the price high. This is exaggerated further by the compulsory service/amenity charge that effectively tries to force you to eat at the hotel every night. Overall the hotel was ok, but if revisiting I would look to stay elsewhere.

Reasonable cost for central San Francisco - but area just SWAMPED with homeless and down and outs, fighting in street and playing music loudly at all hours. San Francisco is DROWNING under this sh*t - but not the Hotel's fault.
