Romer House Waikiki

It is a newly remodeled property, but its esthetic is kind of off. Exposed pipes in the rooms and halls, and odd lighting. Very minimalistic. Pool is tiny and more like a large lukewarm hot tub. Very few lounge chairs, but plenty of covered chairs. The elevators are slow, tiny, and saunas. Just ok.

We always stay at the Romer when we’re in Waikiki. We can walk everywhere and everything is right there. The hotel staff provide the best courteous service. It’s an economical hotel for its location but doesn’t disappoint ever!

This is a small boutique hotel in a great location. It is a few steps from the international marketplace that has restaurants, target, ABC store etc. The Marketplace also has a coffee shop called Kona that has great coffee and delicious pastries. The staff at the hotel were helpful and quick to respond to any requests. A special shout out to the staff in the restaurant. Great service ladies!! Food was unique, in tapas style, and was delicious! We used our $40 food and beverage credit and really enjoyed our experience. We also enjoyed the morning breakfast that came with our room. It was a little bit of a mystery what the breakfast entailed, but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food (see the pictures of the menu). It was quick and portable which was great for early morning tours. The hotel is designed in a U-shape which means a lot of the rooms look out into other rooms across a courtyard/pool area. If your room is inside the U there is no privacy when you are on your balcony. The hotel was quiet. Overall, we would visit again. We liked the adult only vibe.

Excellent location, clean bright modern rooms, nice pool. Did not try bar or restaurant, was out in town instead.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Waikiki so far.

Location is great. Central in Waikiki. Shops and eateries just across the street. Be careful of the resort fees - another 350 usd on top of the room rate and not quoted in advance.

Had a wonderful 5 nights at Romer House. Location is exceptional and walking distance to bike stations, restaurants and Waikiki beach. Recommend! And would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 7 nights at Waikiki Romer House. Its location is good, only a few blocks from shopping, restaurants and the beach. The front desk personal was very courteous and greeted us each time we walked by the desk. Our rooms ac only worked half our time. We did call down once and the maintenan I need to do this

I had too many problems with my room, we were locked out for a long period of time, when I used my steamer the outlet for the bedroom side would shortage. Nina was great and Grant with everything, I did not like the one who check us in and he took sooooo long just to check us in. Check in should not take that long especially with flights that are long people just want to rest. Overall everything else was great, every thing was walking distance and the beach was too, Valet is expensive a day, $300 for 5 days, a lot of dining options and felt safe and not overly loud and crazy.
