Nice room, early check-in and parking which is sometimes hard to get, awesome check-in Staff, big smile and cheerful, will be back.

Rooms are a little small but the view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. Parking is great as it’s not restricted. If you stay right in town there are parking limits. It was only a pleasant 10 minute walk to town . One day we had to remind reception out room was not made up . This is a great reasonably priced convenient place to stay

Needs electric blankets n heat pump . Wall heater took forever to warm up n the shower head needs changing . Water flow very weak

Location of the property is great with the amazing views of the lake and The Remarkables. It’s also walkable to the city centre. However, cleanliness is very poor, including the housekeeping staff. It’s bit noisy too.

The first room we checked into looked like a grey dog had been living it, there was grey hair everywhere, the sofa was badly stained, mould on the curtains and walls. Asked the duty manager to come and have a look. We were eventually given a different room on the next floor, there were holes in the internal doors where they had been banged against the door stoppers, the holes were big enough to put a fist in, the ranch sliders didn’t have working locks just a chain to stop it being broken into, the bathroom vent didn’t work meaning the bathroom was soaking wet after 2 of us tried to shower, the glass shower screen was t long enough so puddles on the bathroom floor. The wardrobe door could’ve opened and closed without the door coming off both rails meaning the doors weee just kept semi opened. The room safe was a genuine antique, you needed to go to reception for a key and pay for the privilege! One day housekeeping didn’t come until 1700, reception said they had to clean the checkout rooms first when they did arrive we just asked for fresh towels and did the rest ourselves . There was card on the bed that said you could get $10 off food and drinks if you didn’t have housekeeping for a day. Clearly they didn’t have enough staff to cope. On the morning we checked out we found d someone sleeping rough in the corridor of our floor, the receptionist said they didn’t know anyone had slept the night there, a j by it worrying about security, felt like a dos house j no it a supposed 4star hotel. The only redeeming feature was the location of the hotel.

Nice location but noise level is high (main roadway right outside with lake view) Thin walls. could actually understand what the man in the next room was saying during his phone conversations. Must not have closed his bathroom door either...some of that I did not want to hear. No fan in bathroom, no AC. Will not book a room at this hotel in the future.

Should have read the reviews before booking . Website is a scam as is definitely not as listed . Rooms are extremely dark and out dated , walls are paper thin , shower is out dated no exhaust fan. Booked on line for two nights at just over $300 a night wish we didn’t do that now first night in and we would like to leave to go somewhere else . Best thing going for it is the view , Back in the day I guess there were on top but now they have dropped below the bar , out side needs some weeding done on the grounds and on the building , paint work is horrible. If you want some great customer service this is not the place to come for it . Front staff were not great or out going or friendly. Megga disappointment .
