"No sleep at all! Do not stay here!"

Various alarms were going off for hours and the manager would not tell us what was happening, how long the alarms would be going off, or if the room would be refunded. We had small children who needed sleep!

"It was a comfortable and convenient place to stay for one night and was a good value."

It was convenient to have breakfast included and on site. The location was very convenient because we were visiting Davidson College, which was less than a 10 minute drive away. I liked that there was hot tea available in the lobby when we arrived because we got to the hotel very late (after 10:00 PM).

The breakfast options were adequate but not particularly appealing.

"Sliding Barn Door Style Bathroom Doors"

The place was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great and all day coffee/tea/hot chocolate was a plus...Everyone working there was super nice, friendly and accomodating....my ONLY issue was the bathroom door...it's a sliding "barn door" type door and does not close completely or "seal"....in a small room, that's frustrating, to say the least...I asked the front desk and was told that all of the rooms had the same design for the bathroom door...my husband and I are married over 40 years, but still...it's nice to have a little "privacy" when using the bathroom...other than that, I felt that everything else there was above standard, comfortable and clean.

The staff were exceptional. Check in was a breeze and welcoming. It was very clean and there was an attention to details not typically found in this category of hotels
