Very nice host at the reception with a warm welcome and some recommendations. Comfy bed and good location for an early morning start in Seoroksan.

If you manage your expectations, this is a good option for the area. The staff's customer service made up for the patched walls in our room. The provided space heater allowed us to dry our wet clothes overnight after hiking in the rain all day. Breakfast was an extra fee, but at that point in our trip, eggs and toast was a welcome addition to the typical Korean breakfast, which was also served.

The walls in our room could use a makeover. If you're looking for more class and an even closer walking distance to Seoraksan National Park, there is another option.

The hostel is near the entrance of the National Park, supermarkets and the bus stop. The owners of the hostel are the most warm-hearted people; they are so kind. They explained everything about the park and they help you directly if you have a question. I would recommend this place.
