"Nice break near Bishop Auckland"

Room size (4) not to small or too large. Food was excellent value. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Poor ( not working) WiFi. Made worse as our mobile signal was poor. I suspect its a blind spot for most mobile networks.

Can’t remember the name of the receptionist but she was extremely helpful and friendly. Chef was also great. Breakfast was first class!!

"Lovely country pub, with good access to towns in the area. Room exceeded my expectations."

Very good breakfast. Full English, everything well cooked and good value at £10 per head. Would recommend this. Service was good too.

Parking was a bit tricky in the car park, but plenty of space to park up in the village, so not a major issue.
