We need to stay near Bishop Aukland and this came up on Hotels.com. The locals we were meeting knew of it and said it was good and it really was. Lovely pub. Very friendly. Great service. Awesome food. Very accommodating as we turned up a bit late but they still did food for us. Would recommend and stay again.

Everything. Ideal location. Staff are exceptional. Mackenzie is a star.

Our room was clean but not up to the normal very high standards. Urine was left in the toilet. I wonder if we were given a room that hadn't been made ready.

We had a good relaxing stay, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was first class and plenty of Choice. Nice comfy bed to ensure a good night sleep 😴

Nice comfortable room with some nice added touches. Water. Dressing gown and slippers. Unfortunatly i had a very noisy neighbour. Thin walls. Menu in room different to limited menu in restaurant.
