"A lovely base to explore the area and to to visit Kynren in Bishop Auckland"

Newly decorated, comfortable room. The inn is in a quiet location. Good breakfasts. Lovely staff - nothing too much trouble. A visit to the lovely little Saxon church opposite the inn is a must.

The en-suite was spotlessly clean but could have been a little larger considering the size of the room. Some of the spaces in the car park were also quite tight.

"Excellent for what they charged"

Breakfast was fine . Not expensive so 7/10 Evening meal was excellent 10/10

Egg done on hot plate Orange juice and cereal cheap quality Breakfast wasn’t as good as the food in the evening
